When a shop calls themselves "master" technicians, is that an actual thing?
My 2015 RS7 has developed a pretty serious leak from what looks like the transmission pan area. I've called a few places around Dubai and one shop mentioned they have a certified master technician on staff. Sounded impressive but I honestly don't know if that's a real credential or just something they put on the website. I'm looking for a shop that does what I'd call Master Transmission Repair Dubai level work because this car is my baby and I don't want just anyone touching it. Is there an actual certification body for transmission specialists here in the UAE or is it mostly just experience that matters? I'd love to know what questions to ask to separate the real experts from the ones who just bought a nice scan tool and call it a day. Any advice appreciated.
