Anyone else storing petrol for a small generator farm

Anyone else storing petrol for a small generator farm and tired of the cans swelling up like balloons?

I've got a little setup out in the Ajman countryside with a few backup generators for the poultry sheds and I've been buying the same cheap plastic cans from the local hardware shop for years thinking I was saving money, but the last batch has been an absolute nightmare because they swell up so bad in this heat that the bottoms round out and they won't stand upright without leaning against the wall like a drunk uncle at a wedding, and I'm pretty sure one of them has a hairline crack near the seam that's been slowly sweating fumes into the shed for the past month which is not great when you're trying to keep a few thousand birds from having a very bad day. I've finally decided to stop being cheap and find a durable fuel storage jerry cans in UAE supplier that won't make me feel like I'm handling an unexploded bomb every time I need to top off the tanks, and I landed on Crateco's page which has a bunch of options but now I'm stuck trying to figure out if the 20 liter ones have a flat bottom or that weird recessed foot thing that makes them unstable on anything that isn't a perfectly level floor, which my shed definitely is not. Anyone got a few of these in rotation for stationary storage and can vouch that the plastic doesn't get all brittle and weird after a couple of summers of just sitting in a shaded but still stupidly hot shed?
