My Camry's battery is 5 years old – replace now or wait for failure?I've got a 2016 Toyota Camry and the original battery is still going somehow. It cranks fine, no slow starts, no warning lights. But I know it's living on borrowed time, especially with summer coming. I live in Dubai Hills Estate and I'm thinking I should just replace it proactively instead of waiting to get stranded. I'm looking for a
55D23L Battery Replacement in Dubai Hills Estate from a mobile service so I don't have to drive anywhere. I found Amaron's battery page and they seem to have this size. My question is, is there any downside to replacing a battery that still seems healthy? Could the new one actually be worse quality than my old OEM one? Also should I go with the same capacity or is it safe to go slightly bigger? I just want peace of mind but I don't want to waste money if the old battery might last another year. What's the average lifespan here? Any Camry owners with experience on original battery life? Thanks for the advice.
